FFL TRANSFERS

DIDN'T BUY FROM US?
THAT'S OKAY... WE FORGIVE YOU!
WE CAN STILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR FFL TRANSFER

We can still help you get your firearm if you have purchased it from another dealer.
We will gladly handle your FFL transfers.

Price: $50 ($25 Transfer Fee + $25 NICS Background Check Fee to the State of Nevada); if you have a current CCW it is $25.

Please note that the transfer fee and background check fees are due at time of submission and are NON-REFUNDABLE. This also applies in the event that the background check comes back “DELAYED” or “DENIED”.

The process is pretty straightforward…

When you complete your transaction with the seller, be sure to provide them with our email address FFLTransfer@monkeerancharms.com so that they can contact us to request a copy of our FFL.

We will also need a copy of the invoice or receipt for the transaction.

If you were not charged a sales tax, we are required to collect Nevada sales tax for the purchase price.

Once we have received and processed the firearm as required, we will contact you to set up an appointment to come in and complete the required paperwork, pay all necessary fees, and start the background check process.

You must bring a valid photo ID and your Concealed Carry Permit (if you have one). Unfortunately, we won’t be able to proceed with the transaction without a valid photo ID. This is normally completed the same day as, or the day after the firearm has been received.

Background Checks are completed through the State of Nevada Point of Contact Firearms Program.

Depending on backlogs they may take up to 14 days to get a response.

After we have received a “PROCEED” status from the NICS background check, we will contact you to set up an appointment to pick up your firearm.

If the background check comes back as “DENIED” we will be unable to release the firearm to you.  We will hold it until you can resolve the situation or coordinate for return to the seller.

Should you need to return the firearm to the seller, you will be responsible for any fees, such as restocking and shipping. If the return shipment is not resolved or the firearm is left in our possession for over 30 days (without further coordination or correspondence), it is considered abandoned and will become the property of Monkee Ranch Arms without any compensation to the buyer.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
